Our covered yards house large, comfortable loose boxes offering your horse a safe and warm home. The stables are well-ventilated, spacious, and maintained to a high standard throughout the year.
The covered yard design means you can care for your horse in comfort whatever the weather — a real bonus during those wet Lancashire winters!
We offer over 30 acres of managed grazing with automatic water troughs. There are two large paddocks split into same-sex grazing groups, plus a selection of smaller paddocks to accommodate all needs.
Our high standard of grassland management means quality grazing year-round, and we produce our own high-quality horse haylage on the farm.
We provide an outdoor ménage approximately 20x40 metres in size, offering year-round training and exercise for rider and horse. The arena is floodlit for evening use during the darker months.
A full set of show jumps is available for use, and poles and schooling equipment can be arranged. Whether you're working on flatwork, jumping, or just having a quiet ride, the arena provides a safe, contained space.
Our location in the North Lancashire countryside provides countless miles of exceptional country lanes and bridleways, all easily accessible from the yard. You can ride for hours without touching a main road.
Routes take you through quiet villages, alongside the canal, across open farm land, and through woodland. It's one of the real highlights of being at Greenbank — hacking that genuinely never gets boring.
