📋 Paperwork & Requirements
- Horse's passport (with vaccination records up to date)
- Proof of flu and tetanus vaccinations
- Recent worm count results or worming records
- Copy of insurance documents (if required)
- Vet contact details
- Farrier contact details
- Emergency contact information for the yard
🧴 Tack & Equipment
- Saddle and girth
- Bridle with bit
- Saddle pad and numnah
- Headcollar and lead rope (at least two)
- Rugging kit — lightweight, medium, and heavyweight turnout rugs
- Fly rug and sheet (yes, even for a winter move!)
- Exercise boots / bandages
- Stable bandages
🧹 Grooming & Care
- Grooming kit — body brush, dandy brush, hoof pick, curry comb
- Mane and tail comb
- Sweat scraper
- Shampoo and coat conditioner
- Hoof oil and dressing
- Towels
- Bucket (or two)
- First aid kit
🍖 Feed & Supplements
- Your horse's usual hard feed (enough for the first week at least)
- Supplements and any medications
- Feed bowls and scoops
